From My Shelf To Yours: My Favorite Books

If you look at my bookshelves- you’ll see a wide variety. Everything from the classic fiction, thrillers, true crime, to cookbooks, and medicinal herbs. I love buying new books. I attempted to use a kindle at one point and epically   failed- I need to have the physical copy, to tun the pages, and to smell that new book smell. So this brings me to my list of my all time favorite books!

Favorite Fiction:

All The Ugly And Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood

This book is hard to describe. It challenges your thinking and makes you change your prescriptive. Things are not always black and white- they are shades of grey. Its one of my all time favorites and I literally felt every.single.emotion while reading it.

The Things Alice Forgot by Laine Moriarty

I like most books by Laine Moriarty- but this one is my fav. Basically- this woman hits her head at the gym and forgets the last 10 years. Her marriage is in the crapshoot, she has horrible kids, and is basically everything she said she would never become. It’s a good one.

The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine

I love a good thriller. Especially one that isn’t predictable and keeps me wondering. This one is all about a girl that inserts herself into a married couples life with the intent to steal her husband. That’s all I’m going to say.

Favorite Non- Fiction:

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert

This book was given to me by one of my dear friends & It became one of the most “light a fire in your soul” kind of books. If you are a creative or wanting to peruse your passions- pick this one up now.

Just The Essentials by Adina Grigore

When I first started getting into essential oils- I was overwhelmed by all of the information. This book broke things down nicely from what to look for when buying E.Os, amazing recipes, and so much more.

Braving the Wilderness by Brene Brown

I love all things Brene Brown. This one in particular struck me, all about belonging to your community (and ourselves) without changing who you are.

On my To Be Read list

Long Bright River

Dear Edward
