This has been months in the making & I’m so excited to share this big, big news!
I officially launched a brand new website and will be offering weddings under Chelsea Dobs Photography! Wooo!
From the very beginning I have worked with my wonderful friend Bailey at Bailey Aro Photography. I started out as her second shooter and then became her very first associate wedding photographer. Over the last few years I’ve learned so much & I’m excited to finally take this jump. I’ve gotten a lot of questions over the last few weeks about this transition and what it all means, so I’m answering a few of them below!
Will you still be shooting weddings with Bailey Aro Photography?
Starting July 2020, I will solely be offering weddings and other sessions under my own brand! As much as I love working for Bailey and her brand, we both can’t wait to see this new adventure unfold!
Will you be doing things the same as before?
I’m excited to take all of the things I’ve learned over the years and put my own spin on them! I was lucky to have been able to put some of my personality into the Bailey Aro Wedding experience, but now I’ll be able to make things completely my own and make sure my brand speaks to who I am!
Why did you decide to stop being an associate?
From the beginning it was always my intention to eventually go off on my own. Bailey and I both have a lot of new & exciting life things happening and when we chatted about the future it became clear that we would close the chapter on me being an associate photographer. This was such a bittersweet decision for both of us but we are equally excited to see what’s coming next!
What are you most excited for?
I’m so excited to meet all my new couples and have a brand that represents what I love & my personality. This was a scary decision to make. I’ve been working under an established business for the last few years & starting from scratch on my own is terrifying. BUT- There is beauty in doing the things that scare you the most and I’m so excited to see what’s to come!
